Baguio City, Philippines – September 12, 2024
The University of the Cordilleras Gymnasium buzzed with excitement as the Open House 2024 unfolded, welcoming new students in a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. Organized by the Marketing Junior Executives (MJE) and the Booth Committee, the event aimed to foster community spirit, inclusivity, and student engagement.
Event Highlights
The Booth Committee’s meticulous planning ensured a smooth start at 8:00 AM. The venue featured colorful balloon columns, infographic boards, and interactive activities, creating a lively environment for attendees. To maintain efficiency, the event was divided into two shifts, allowing officers to manage activities without fatigue while ensuring maximum participation.

Student Engagement
Engagement was at the heart of the event. Officers introduced a spin-the-wheel game to attract students and share information about the organization’s purpose and activities. This strategy boosted social media followers and generated strong interest in MJE membership, with many students expressing their intent to join.

Closing and Feedback
After the event, officers assisted with cleanup and debriefing, evaluating successes and identifying areas for improvement. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, praising the event’s organization and interactive approach.

The Open House 2024 reflects UC’s commitment to creating an inclusive, skill-building environment that empowers students to thrive academically and socially.
