UC CBA Champions Sustainability and Innovation: Team PARKE Advances to Smart City Challenge Semifinals

The University of the Cordilleras College of Business Administration proudly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through Team PARKE’s groundbreaking project, GREENLIGHT. This initiative contributes to:

Team PARKE’s Journey to Excellence

BAGUIO CITY — The University of the Cordilleras (UC) College of Business Administration proudly celebrates Team PARKE for advancing to the semifinals of the Smart City Challenge, held at the Baguio Convention Center. Competing against 67 teams from various institutions across Benguet, Team PARKE showcased exceptional creativity and innovation through their project GREENLIGHT, a smart solution addressing urban challenges.

On November 7, 2024, the team triumphed in the preliminary round, earning a coveted spot in the next stage scheduled for December 2–6, 2024. Their journey included participation in the Smart City Tour, an immersive experience that enriched their understanding of real-world urban solutions and strengthened their proposal.

Team PARKE also earned recognition as a Top 10 Finalist in the Technopreneurship Challenge, proving that business administration students can excel in technology-driven competitions traditionally dominated by IT and engineering fields.
