Baguio City, Philippines – January 24, 2025

The Student Development and Welfare Office hosted the Welcome Connect event at the UC Gymnasium, inviting 12 student organizations to participate in fostering community spirit and belonging among students. The Marketing Junior Executives (MJE) proudly represented the College of Business Administration with a creative and interactive booth.

Event Highlights

MJE officers arrived early at 7:30 AM to collect booth materials and completed setup by 8:30 AM. Despite lower-than-expected turnout, the MJE booth stood out with its Squid Game-inspired activities, including:
  • Ddjakki
  • Don’t Touch the Color or Shape I Say

These games captured attention and encouraged students to engage, resulting in new membership interest.

Engagement and Adaptability

Throughout the day, booth staff maintained an inviting atmosphere, ensuring every visitor had a fun and interactive experience. The event ran from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, concluding with booth dismantling, cleanup, and return of borrowed materials to the CBA faculty and storage room.
The Welcome Connect event reflects UC’s commitment to inclusivity, student development, and collaborative engagement—empowering students to connect, learn, and grow.
