On May 17, 2025, the University of the Cordilleras (UC) opened its doors to generations of proud alumni for the much-anticipated Grand Alumni Homecoming 2025. The event was a vibrant celebration of shared memories, enduring friendships, and the ever-growing legacy of UC.
The day began with a spirited Homecoming Parade at 8:00 AM, starting from Gov. Pack Road and marching through Session Road. Alumni proudly walked alongside students, faculty, and university officials, showcasing their deep-rooted pride and connection to their alma mater.
Following the parade, the celebration continued at the UC Closed Gym from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The program featured inspiring speeches, captivating performances, and engaging activities that brought together former and current students, advisers, and faculty members. It was a day of reconnection, reflection, and celebration—a true melting pot of generations united by their UC experience.

Representing the College of Business Administration (CBA) with pride were Mr. Dave Homer F. Areola and Ms. Diana Rose R. Magat, crowned as Homecoming King and Queen of CBA. Both expressed their joy and gratitude for being part of such a meaningful tradition.

“Attending an alumni homecoming for the first time has been a truly memorable experience,” shared Mr. Areola. “While I wasn’t reunited with the entire batch, being surrounded by fellow CBA Officers made it feel just as special. What makes this event meaningful is that it goes beyond tradition—it’s about celebrating the enduring spirit of the College of Business Administration. As the Homecoming King and Queen of CBA, we are honored to carry that pride and represent the strong bond that connects students and alumni alike.”
“It was truly heartwarming to reconnect with batchmates—even those from different academic years,” shared Ms. Magat. “The parade was thoughtfully organized, and receiving tokens as keepsakes added a special touch to the experience. Seeing familiar faces, reminiscing about the past, and creating new memories made this homecoming truly unforgettable. It feels incredibly good to be back at UC.”
The Grand Alumni Homecoming 2025 was more than just a reunion—it was a powerful reminder of the lasting impact UC has on its students. It celebrated not only academic achievements but also the personal and professional growth nurtured within the university’s walls. For many, it was a return to where it all began—a place that continues to shape lives and inspire futures.
