Supporting Global Goals for Sustainable Development
The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the University of the Cordilleras College of Business Administration (UC CBA) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Benguet aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- SDG 4: Quality Education (Indicator 4.4.1 – Increase relevant skills for employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship) Through training and capacity-building programs for aspiring entrepreneurs.
- SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth (Indicator 8.3.1 – Support productive activities, entrepreneurship, and innovation) By promoting inclusive economic opportunities and sustainable business development.
- SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (Indicator 9.5.1 – Enhance research and innovation capacity) Through collaborative research and development initiatives.
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals (Indicator 17.17.1 – Encourage effective public-private partnerships) By formalizing cooperation between academic and government institutions.

The College of Business Administration (CBA) of the University of the Cordilleras (UC) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Benguet officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the CBA Dean’s Office, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership dedicated to entrepreneurship development and community empowerment.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to fostering sustainable opportunities, nurturing entrepreneurial talent, and strengthening local communities through inclusive and strategic development.
