Be Part of the 2nd Project P.A.W.S.: A Call to Care

The Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX), in partnership with the University of the Cordilleras’ Project H.E.L.E.N., rolls out the 2nd Project P.A.W.S. (Promoting Animal Welfare and Safety).

This meaningful initiative supports the Furvent Sanctuary in Asin Tuba, home to 80 rescued dogs, by gathering essential supplies to keep them safe, healthy, and loved.

🐾 Items Needed for Donation

  • Dog & cat food / rice
  • Seedlings (Sayote & Squash)
  • Pet shampoos & cleaning supplies
  • Vitamins & medical supplies
  • Daily essentials (feeding bowls, towels, leashes, beds, etc.)

📍 Drop-off Points

  • CBA Office – Room F802B
  • CSR Office – Room M403 (Enter Gate 1, across the Registrar counter)

Donation Period:

Donations will be accepted until March 28, 2026.

  • Donations are open to everyone – not limited to UC students, faculty, or employees.
  • Cash donations will not be accepted. Please send items from the listed needs.

This activity supports the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 15: Life on Land – Protecting and caring for rescued dogs contributes to biodiversity and animal welfare.
  • SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production – Encourages donations of practical, sustainable items (food, seedlings, cleaning supplies) instead of cash. Promotes mindful resource use and reduces waste through targeted contributions.
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – Strengthening collaboration between academia and professional institutions
