On September 12, 2024, the University of the Cordilleras (UC) Gymnasium buzzed with excitement as the much-anticipated Open House 2024 unfolded. The event, meticulously organized by the Marketing Junior Executives and the Booth Committee, aimed to welcome new students with a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.
Event Highlights
The Booth Committee's careful planning and collaboration ensured that everything was ready for the official opening at 8:00 AM. The venue was adorned with inviting infographic boards, colorful balloon columns, and interactive activities designed to create a fun and lively environment for the new students.
To maximize efficiency and maintain momentum among the officers, the event was divided into two shifts. This strategy allowed for maximum attendance while minimizing fatigue. Core officers remained at the table throughout the day, coordinating activities and ensuring everything ran smoothly.

Student Engagement
Engaging with students was a key focus of the event. Officers utilized a spin-the-wheel game to attract students and encourage them to learn about the organization’s purpose and activities. This tactic proved successful, as the organization’s page followers increased, and many potential members expressed a strong desire to join the team.

Closing and Feedback
After the event concluded, the officers reconvened to assist with cleanup and provide feedback. This debriefing session was crucial for evaluating the event’s success and identifying areas for improvement in future activities.
