Baguio City, Philippines – The UC Theater was a vibrant mosaic of cultures on November 6-7, as the College of Business Administration (CBA) at the University of Cordilleras (UC) joined the UN Celebration 2023. This spectacular event, organized in collaboration with the university student council, various college student councils, and numerous college clubs, was a feast for the senses and a testament to global unity.
A Multicultural Extravaganza:
For two days, the UC Theater transformed into a bustling hub of international diversity. Attendees were treated to a whirlwind tour of the world through the unique Country Booths set up by student organizations. Each booth was a gateway to a different culture, offering a taste of its flavors, customs, and heritage.
Italy: The Marketing Junior Executives (MJE) Club’s booth, “Cibi Italiani,” was a culinary delight. Visitors savored Italian classics like Coffee Latte (₱65.00), Zeppole (₱35.00), and cookies (₱20.00), all while soaking in the rich cultural ambiance.

Brazil: The Neo Management Executive Club (NMEC) brought the vibrant spirit of Brazil to life. Despite initial challenges, their booth, inspired by Brazil’s famous carnivals, captivated the audience and turned a quiet start into a bustling success.

Other CBA clubs also showcased their creativity and teamwork, contributing to the event’s lively atmosphere and fostering a sense of unity within the college.
Celebrating Excellence
The event culminated in a series of awards recognizing the outstanding efforts of participants:
Best Booth: The UC Peer Facilitators wowed everyone with their creativity and engagement, earning the top honor.
Voters’ Choice Award for Booth: UC CTE - Publicus captured the hearts of attendees, winning the Voters’ Choice Award for their exceptional booth.
Best Poster: Noah Wilbur G. Ladringan’s poster stood out for its artistic brilliance and powerful message, securing the Best Poster award.
Voters’ Choice Award for Poster: John Alexander N. Lipiano’s poster was the crowd favorite, earning him the Voters’ Choice Award.
