Baguio City, September 24, 2025 – The University of the Cordilleras Innovation and Technology Transfer Office (InTTO) successfully hosted its inaugural Intellectual Property (IP) Quiz on September 24, 2025, highlighting the vital role of IP in fostering creativity, innovation, and academic excellence.
Representing the College of Business Administration (CBA), two outstanding students showcased their knowledge and passion for intellectual property rights. Ms. Patrica Mae G. Cruz, a BSBA Major in Digital Marketing student, earned the 2nd Runner-Up spot in this pioneering competition. Alongside her, Ms. Aliyah Yvon G. Capili, also a BSBA Major in Digital Marketing student, demonstrated remarkable skill and commitment throughout the event.
The IP Quiz aimed to raise awareness about intellectual property laws and their significance in protecting ideas and innovations, aligning with UC’s mission to cultivate a culture of research and innovation among students.
The College of Business Administration proudly congratulates Ms. Cruz and Ms. Capili for their exceptional performance and for bringing honor to the college. Their achievement serves as an inspiration to their peers to embrace innovation and academic excellence.
