The University of the Cordilleras College of Business Administration (UC-CBA) transformed the classroom into a hub of creativity and entrepreneurship during the Product Proposal Event held on April 7, 2026.
This event served as the culmination for students in Product Management and Retail Management, headed by their advisers, Mr. Gabriel R. De Guzman and Ms Rhodora Ann N. Ontal, respectively. The challenge was to move beyond theory and bring new product concepts to life, testing them against the feedback of peers, faculty, and industry evaluators. By stimulating innovation and collaboration, the event ensured that learning became a tangible, high-impact experience.
Each product proposal underwent a rigorous formal assessment led by Dr. Nikko Jayson P. Go and Dr. Donny C. Calaunan. The evaluators provided analytical input and constructive criticism, ensuring that student strategies met current market trends and sustainability realities.
The event showcased a diverse range of products reflecting hard work and practical application:
Rebel Dough: A unique cookie line featuring an unexpected spicy twist.

The Green Baker: Health-conscious cupcakes flavored with sayote and apple.

FruLitaw: A modern, fruit-infused take on the classic Filipino palitaw.

Sushinoy: A creative fusion blending Japanese sushi techniques with Pinoy adobo flavors.

Rekindle: Aromatic candles designed for warmth and relaxation.

Luscente: An innovative dual-purpose candle that doubles as a moisturizer or lotion.
